  • Dancing in the Pain

    $14.94

Dancing in the Pain: Finding Joy and Grace in the Midst of Struggle by Dara Halydier is authentic and encouraging. Dara was born with spina bifida occulta. She was told she should never have been able to stand, walk, or have children. She played softball, marched in the band, and has five grown sons. Through it all, she suffered from daily, often intense pain. Seven spinal surgeries and lots of physical therapy later, she still deals with chronic pain and the mental anguish that goes with it. Having been raised by two parents with mental illness, she has overcome clinical depression through Jesus Christ. Dancing in the Pain is a 30-day devotional with excerpts of Dara’s walk with Jesus through the pain. She shares her doubts, her frustrations, her joys, and her quiet inner journey with Jesus as she combats the daily war in her body. Satan is alive and well. Dara clearly explains his part of her pain and depression and how to fight with the spiritual weapons that Christians are given.

  • Donate to the Russian Project

    $10.00$2,000.00

I am really excited to announce that the Russian translation of Living Beautifully: Practical Proverbs for Women Book 1 and Living Gracefully: Practical Proverbs for Women Book 2 has begun! Mission Eurasia is partnering with us on this new venture. Their mission statement reads: We evangelize, train, equip, and mobilize the Next Generation in Eurasia to lead churches in transforming their nations for Christ.

Mission Eurasia covers Eastern Europe and Russia and its satellite nations, many of which are at war. They sponsor School Without Walls and train young adults to teach in camps and neighborhoods about Jesus. They also do something similar to the shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse. The difference is that all donated monies go to local churches in Eurasia. They buy the products there to help the local economies, and the churches distribute the Christmas presents full of needed items. The contacts are then followed up during the year. Mission Eurasia also holds college and seminary-level classes and trains church leaders. Read more about this amazing ministry at https://missioneurasia.org/.

There is much need in these countries for Bible study material. Mission Eurasia translated and printed 10,000 booklets in 2016 about giving from MB Foundation, where my husband works. These have been used to evangelize and start new churches.

How cool it would be if God can use the words He gave me for homeschoolers in America to reach young people of many nations with His word, His grace, His mercy, His freedom, and His promises! That’s exciting! But to make this happen we need financial support and prayers.

Please pray about giving to help this effort in reaching people for Jesus Christ in nations across the globe by donating to Project Eurasia. 100% of all donations will go to fund the translation, editing, and printing of these books in Russian. We need to raise $10,500 for the translation and editing for printing the first 1000 of each book. Will you be a part of this wonderful ministry opportunity?

Each book will be used over and over to disciple many. What an impact the dollars you share can have. Donations sent to Abiding Truth Ministry, Inc. are tax-deductible.

  • On This Day: Spiritual Lessons from American History

    $22.95

It is the rare devotional that actually applies and exemplifies biblical teaching, one that will get used year after year and passed on from reader to reader. On This Day is just such a book. It is a riveting devotional that the entire family can enjoy and learn from together. Through the course of one year, this historically-based devotional will guide you through the pages of American history. You will experience America’s early years as witnessed by our nation’s citizens and presidents. Through daily studies and historical accounts, you will learn how this nation was truly founded on faith. Accompanied by a daily Scripture and prayer, On This Day will challenge you and your family to consider your American heritage in action and apply the Scripture and prayers to your daily lives. As a chaplain in the U.S. Army for 24 years and a current pastor, Dr. Paul Barkey knows how to relate biblical truth in relevant ways. His ability to recognize the hand of God in everyday occurences make him uniquely qualified to write a devotional based on the remarkable sense of Providence that guided the formation of this nation. Far from being simple history lessons with a Bible verse thrown in for good measure, Dr. Barkey shows that God’s unmistakable fingerprints are all over American history. More importantly, he connects biblical and American history with an eye to the present, being ever mindful to apply the lessons of history to the questions of today. On This Day is great not only for individual reading, but also works well as a quick and easy lesson book for family devotions.

  • Biblically Handling Technology and Social Media

    $6.95
    Manufacturer: Bblical Discipleship Ministries
Technology-based systems now dominate 21st century society.  Smartphones, iPods, and social media are a major part of our lives.  While these technology innovations are not bad in and of themselves and have useful purposes, they can have negative influences on our lives if our use of them is not guided by Biblical principles. We are to be in the world but not of the world: And be not conformed to this world. (Romans 12:2)If we use things the world has deemed popular or cultural, then we need to guard ourselves against copying the way the world uses them.  We should strive to view our entertainment and use of technology in ligh of Scriptural truths, particulary 1 Corinthians 10:31:  “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

  • Boy Crazy and How I Ended Up Single & Sane

    $12.00

    Boycrazy:
And how I ended up single and (mostly) sane

Time was ticking away and Tiffany was losing her mind, waiting for Mr. Right to show up and press the “Start” button on life. That led to a horribly broken relationship, addiction to attention from guys, and fear — constant, tormenting fear — that no one would ever love her.
Written like a novel, Boycrazy is full of heartaches, fears, and (just for fun) some weird date stories. But it’s also different from your typical book on singleness and dating. It has all sorts of lessons she wishes she’d learned growing up:
    tips on how to date,
how to be yourself around guys,
how to know if a relationship is healthy,
and thoughts on what contentment really is.
In her humorous, heart-baring way, Tiffany shares her mistakes, questions, and the lessons she learned over the last ten years that brought her from boy crazy to single and (mostly) sane.

  • Faces of Truth

    $32.95

Premise for this book about famous Christians

In 1988 Douglas and Norma Latta accepted in their spirits an extremely strong unction to begin developing artistic portraits and mini-biographies of famous highly achieving movers and shakers from our history, all of whom were outspoken Christians. These Christian testimonies represent examples of how faith formed and how it sustains our nation. The work on this book has continued from 1988 until this present time.

America’s greatness was built on the Bible and Judeo-Christian principles.

This book is dedicated to helping restore this fact of America’s historical truth.

Since World War II American culture has been aggressively pushed in the direction of depravity by irresponsible entertainment, news media led by committed secularists and disingenuous educators’ desire to ignore and abolish our Christian heritage.

America has never been without flaws. Her worst and most obvious flaw has always been her acceptance of slavery. It was Christians in America and England who, applying Biblical principles pressed relentlessly for the abolition of slavery which ended this terrible sin. Also, through our founding American jurists, the Bible has been the source of America’s legal system.

The subjects in this book are:

Not clergy (some became clergy later)

    All deceased

    Of both genders

    Representative of most major professions

    Representative of many races

This book of Christian testimonies is intended to:

Edify and inspire Christian families with the knowledge of how God’s hand has been on their nation through the faith of born again believers in Jesus; the things they were taught in public school not withstanding.

Be an educational tool in Christian schools and to home schools by academi- cally documenting the Christian truth of our heritage; and by exposing our secularists’ academic disingenuousness.

Be an evangelical tool in Christian homes in the form of an artistically attrac- tive coffee table book clearly available to all who visit their home. The art in this book is intended to be the “hook” of attraction for this book.
