Rest and Joy

“Now, therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight,
let me know Your ways that I may know You,
so that I may find favor in Your sight…”
And He [God] said, “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Exodus 33:13-14

How do we know God? We learn His ways through the reading of the Bible! His way is a path of love and forgiveness, of grace and of mercy. His way is commandments that put a boundary of protection around us that we might have joy. “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.” (John 15:11) His way brings rest to our souls in the midst of the chaos of this world.

And His presence will go with us when we find favor in His sight through faith and through seeking Him.
