“…but let him who has My word speak My word in truth.” Jeremiah 23:28

“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 114:6

Jesus is Logos – the Word. He is Truth. When we receive Jesus at the cross, we receive the ability to know and understand truth. It is not, however, like a lightning strike! No, we must study and grow and seek this truth. As we grow in our relationship with Christ, the Holy Spirit illuminates the Word of God to us, and we learn truth. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of you mind…” (Romans 12:2).

Truth is what is. Truth is the very character of God. It is determined by His laws and rules that He set down before creation. Truth cannot be changed. It is not subjective. If one chooses not to believe in the truth, it does not nullify the truth. Truth is an immovable rock. Jesus is that rock – the cornerstone for those who believe, the stumbling block for many.

Truth is eternal, , immutable (unchanging), and it is ours once we have come to the cross. Even coming to the cross requires truth. We must truthfully look at ourselves, our flesh, our motives, our hearts and when we see the truth of Satan’s lies imprinted there, we fall down at the cross and ask God to replace it with His truth – His salvation.

Know Truth. Know God.
No truth. No God.
Seek Truth!
