God’s Enduring Grace
Endurance. Hang in there. Don’t let go. Help is on the way! Sometimes though, that rescue seems impossible or too late. But our God is faithful! He will uphold His promises of eternal life and of being there with us in the meantime. His enduring grace will see you through if you cling to Him. Hebrews 10: 23, 35-36 says, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,for He who promised is faithful…Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God,you may receive what was promised.”
One day I lay in bed in unbearable pain. I couldn’t hold on any longer. So I began to complain to God. “God,” I said, “I can’t do this for another 20 years, another 10 years, another 5 years. I can’t do this for another year or month or week or day!” And God’s answer came, “I didn’t ask you to. I ask you to do it right now, today. And I am here with you.” That was the day that Jesus became Lord of my future as well as of my past. I can endure because God is faithful, and His presence upholds me day by day, minute by minute. His enduring grace is ever present and always on time. 
My sweet friend, Kathy, endured cancer for many years. She is now eternally healed and in the presence of her Lord. She left a legacy of love, endurance, peace, and commitment.
