God’s Abundance

“Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,
and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully…
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything,
you may have an abundance for every good deed…
Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply our seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;
you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.”
2 Corinthians 9:6,8,10-11

I have been asked to pray about a matter that will take great faith and lots of money! At first, I refused to believe that it was from the Lord. Why would God choose me to do this thing? There are so many others more able and capable. But He has brought me to the point of surrender. I am still asking God to make it very clear to me if this is what I should undertake. I don’t want to step outside of His leading. He has promised to provide for the financial side of this endeavor. Please pray that God will give me wisdom, guidance, and grace in this matter. I still see too many obstacles and am not sure that I am able or willing to do this mission. But I do know that if God calls, He will provide.

Dad and I along with Nathan and others have been sowing the word of God through Abiding Truth Ministry. Thank you all for your investments of money, prayer, and encouragement. We do not take a salary from the ministry and are currently paying back loans incurred. But God has abundantly supplied and as long as we feel God’s leading we will continue to be faithful to sow the word of God into the lives of others through this ministry. It may change in scope and direction, but we will be faithful to follow God. This new opportunity is indeed bountiful – not monetarily, but in scope and possibility!
