God’s Sufficiency
“God is able to make all grace abound to you;
that you, always having all sufficiency in all things,
may abound to every good word and work.”
2 Corinthians 9:8
God’s grace is pardoning grace, needful grace, all sufficient grace, and sanctifying grace. Grace pardons all of our sins making us white as snow. God gives unmeasured grace at our time of need. “My need cannot impoverish that inexhaustible treasury of grace.” – John MacDuff. Grace sanctifies us to holiness. Holiness is happiness as we draw closer to the Savior.
God’s grace was abundant this past weekend as I was at a homeschool conference in Fort Worth, TX. We set up and stood at the booth for three hours Thursday night, 11 hours on Friday, and 8 hours on Saturday. Friday at 5:30 I was to speak on marriage. I was exhausted, in pain, and on medication. When I was finished speaking, I thought that it was terrible. It seemed flat to my ears. But the audience response was amazing with many coming to me during the rest of the conference for mentoring. God’s grace was sufficient, and where I was so weak, God was strong! His presence used my pitiful offering for His glory! That is grace all sufficient!
