Find Joy
“You make him joyful with gladness in Your presence.”
Psalm 21:6
Missing the joy? Find it in Jesus. I am in danger of missing my joy this morning as I head to another doctor visit about my back. Another surgery is back on the table. I am praying for injections or anything else but surgery. But, I know that God could heal my body completely if He chose to. He has not, so His greater purpose in my life is served by walking down this path of pain and surgeries. I trust that He is doing His refining work in me, and I pray that He will use this for His kingdom work.
“Lord, find me faithful in your hope and peace and grace in the midst. Thank you for the joy I find when I sit with You, read Your word, and believe Your promises.”
