Seek First

“But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you.”
Luke 12:31

First things first. Seek God in all things first. Don’t leave prayer as your last resort. He is willing and able and waiting to hear from His children and to answer their prayers. The very purpose of a Christian is prayer: “The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.” 1 Peter 4:7.

“And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11
