Draw Near

“Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace,
so that we may receive mercy and find grace in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16

“Let” us. That means that we have a choice and an opportunity. Are you choosing to draw near to the throne of the Most High God who Created you and loves you and delights in you? You have the ability and opportunity. Are you choosing God or are you still relying on the flesh and others? Only God is able. That is why we must crucify self – our old way of receiving love and affirmation using our own strength and abilities. Instead of “bucking up” or “giving up” or turning to others, we must draw near to the throne of grace. Grace. Ah sweet grace. “Grace that is greater than all my sins.” Grace that is a highway of God’s love and acceptance and adoration from His heart to yours. The gift of grace and mercy has been offered! Are you receiving it? Are you open to all that God wants to pour out lavishly upon you? Here is the key to peace and joy. Draw near….
