In Times of Trouble
“And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations,
knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance,
and perseverance, proven character,
and proven character, hope;
and hope does not disappoint,
because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts
through the Holy spirit who was given to us.
Romans 5:3
Tribulations in any form are not fun, but they will produce blessings if we lean on God through them. It is through tears that we find healing. It is through fear that we find mercy, grace, and love. It is through troubles that we find God’s compassion and faithfulness. All these are ours if we go to God in the midst. He brings contentment, hope, and joy even in the middle of our troubles.
Satan is the author of death, disease, destruction, broken dreams, prideful arrogance, and isolation. Jesus said that in this world we have tribulations, but that He would go through them with us to receive the final glory when He returns and overcomes them all! God to Jesus. He is the answer, and He is enough.
