Daily Daddy
If I only want a relationship with my husband the day of our wedding and when I need someone to lean on to share my burdens, we would not have much of a marriage. Instead, I want to share every day with him. I want to share my joys, my mundane, and my sorrows. We live life together each and every day no matter what that day brings.
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation.” Psalm 68:19
God wants to daily carry you–not just at the time of your salvation; not just when the weight of the world is too heavy for you to bear. He cares for you each and every day. All we must do is to go to Him. He is there for the days of burden, but He is also there for your joys and your mundane. He cares so very much for you – go to Him and share your world with the one who can lift you up, exalt you, and give you rest.
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, Casting all your care on Him, because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7
