Thanksgiving in Every Season

Some Thanksgivings it is easy to give thanks. Every good and perfect gift from the Father comes to mind. Other years, it can be hard to remember why we are thankful. This morning I was thankful that I was able to get up and out of bed. But no matter my frame of mind, God does not change. He does love you, and He gives good gifts to His children. He is compassionate. He gives hope. He will go through the day, the hour, the minute with you when you feel all alone. He will comfort you in your grief.

This world and Satan will throw discouragement, frustration, death, disease, and destruction at you. That is his nature. Praising God and giving thanks in the midst brings you into the presence of God. He will bring a peace that surpassing your circumstances. He will give you hope and bring joy into your dismal situation. Call upon God and wait. The Lord is good to those who seek Him and wait upon Him. Seek Him with your whole heart.

May you find many things to give thanks to God for this Thanksgiving. I thank God upon my every remembrance of you!

Remember my affliction and my wandering, the wormwood and the bitterness. Surely my soul remembers and is bowed down within me. This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.
