God’s Incredible Love

I pray for you that…”Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”
Ephesians 3:17-19

The beginning, the foundation of a Christian walk is to know the love of God. Not to just know of it, but to have accepted it and experienced it. If you have not experienced the love of God lately, spend time praising Him through this verse, Ephesians 3:17-19 (above). “Thank you God that you dwell within me, that you love me so much that You sent Your Son to die for me. I praise You, God, for the full extent of Your love. You are love! You created me because You wanted to love. Your love is accessible, incredible, full, complete, and overflowing. Thank you for a love so big that I can’t even understand it. To even think that I might be filled up with the fullness of You is unbelievable, but so incredible and amazing! Fill my heart, Lord, with Your love.”

Our self-esteem, self-concept, and self-acceptance must be rooted and grounded in God’s love. He loves me just because I am His!!! I can’t earn it, perform for it, deserve it, lose it, or gain more of it. It is already mine. I must just access it through knowledge and faith.

There was a very poor man who lived in a run-down, falling apart she on several acres of land. He died penniless and heartbroken. When his family tore down his shed and dug beneath it they discovered oil. Great wealth. It was there all along, but the man never accessed it. God’s love is there. Access it and claim your fortune!
