Get Wisdom

“I, Wisdom, dwell with prudence,
And I find knowledge and discretion.

Counsel is mine and sound wisdom;
I am understanding. Power is mine.

I love those who love me;
And those who diligently seek me will find me.”
Proverbs 8:12,14,17

Wisdom is the very character and essence of God. It is truth. Truth is unchanging – absolute because our God does not change, therefore His character does not change. Wisdom then comes from diligently seeking to know God.

How diligently are you seeking?

We are transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2) through the study of the word of God. Is your mind being renewed? Are you transformed?

“Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding!
Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
Do not forsake her, and she will guard you.
The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom;
And with all your acquiring, get understanding!”
Proverbs 4:6-7

How do you start? Read your Bible and pray.

My prayer is that each of you are acquiring wisdom daily. Wisdom is God. Wisdom is eternal. Wisdom will help you get through this life victoriously!
