Answered Prayer
“I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me and heard my cry.
He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry Clay,
And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.
He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;
Many will see and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.”
Psalm 40:1-2
That’s where I have been for a couple of months. It’s seems to be seasonal for me. When we come home after months of conferences, it takes me several weeks to be able to think straight and be joyful and determined again. It’s a funk. But God is always faithful and releases me as I cry to Him for purpose, direction, peace, and joy! I don’t have any big plans to announce or a new direction to follow. I am just content. I praise God for His majesty, His creation, His healing, His love, His sovereignty, His plan for my life. So many answered prayers lately! Nolan is still in Victoria’s womb where he belongs. God has healed a vertebrae in my back by making a disc totally disintegrate and the vertebrae to fuse naturally to another leaving enough room for the nerves! He has led to me to a surgeon who will do surgery in November without a long recovery anticipated. He gave me peace as I looked upon the face of one who hates me and all that I stand for. Our God is faithful and true. Every word, every jot and tiddle. I will praise Him.
I hope that you are bowing before your Savior today either crying out for release or just in praise and adoration. He is worthy!
