Deeper Into the Closet of Prayer

Knowing the character of God and how He views you is the foundation of victorious Christian living. He is holy, compassionate, loving, patient, and kind. He delights in you and extends grace to our humanity. He is a good, good Father. Go to Him; speak to Him; cry out to Him. He will meet you where you are and bring joy and peace.

“Communion with God is the essential secret of all holiness of character, conduct and service; and that meditation on the divine character and perfections prepares us not only for prevailing supplication but for reception of divine blessing. Let us think of the secret chamber as a place of vision – of contemplation of God, which makes possible revelations of His goodness, new impartations of His power.” – Arthur Pierson

“Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from the ancient times things which have not been done. Saying, “My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure”… Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it.:  Isaiah 46:8-11

My prayer for each of you is that you stay hidden in your inward closet seeking the Living God. He will meet you there.
