Where is Your Hope?
“O love the Lord, all you his Godly ones! The Lord preserves the faithful And fully recompenses the proud doer. Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:23-24
“We who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil where Jesus has entered.” Hebrews 6:17-20
Where is your hope? In your mate? In your children? In a job? In a house? In yourself? All of these will fail you. Only hope in Jesus will be eternal. This hope is a hope of assured expectation. Life’s circumstances are ever changing. Satan is still the god of this earth and the god of disease, destruction, and death. Life happens.
“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
God can heal and bring joy and strength to you in the midst, but you must put your faith in Him and even now be growing by reading the word of God and praying and praising Him in all things for He cares for you.
